You guys, I’m real excited to share that after doing my very first mentor session a couple of weeks ago I am now officially offering one on one mentor sessions because it was really that fun. I had such a great time with Tiffany, going over shooting in harsh light, post production, social media, client interactions, etc. Since she wanted to tackle post production most, I thought it would be beneficial to photograph a couple first then go back to the studio and chat about the rest.
Mary and JP were so sweet to offer their time and cuteness for us to photograph them. Now, we shot smack dab in the middle of the day, high noon, which as a photographer, you know that that is THE worst time to shoot but I feel it’s important to know how to tackle that tricky light when and if necessary. What to do, you ask? Find open shade, it will be your best friend. Surprisingly enough, I am so in love with these images and will take back all the mean things I’ve said about noon lighting.
If you’re interested in booking a one on one session with me feel free to email me at megan@meganwelker.com for more info. Looking forward to chatting with you!
I had to get a shot of Tiffany and I together. She’s the sweetest girl ever and I’m so happy to have been able to spend the afternoon with her!
