BryAnn first reached out to me more than a year before their wedding and I instantly fell in love with her. Her style was right up my alley and at that time they were planning a California wedding and I was SO excited to work together. Fast forward a few months, she reached out again telling me they decided to completely switch directions and were planning a destination wedding…IN ITALY. Cue all the planning, emailing back and forth, so much excitement and finally, the most beautiful trip.
The celebrations started the day before with a boat ride from the Amalfi Coast to Positano with the bridal party. (Fun fact about me – I get extremely seasick (well, and car sick, and all the things that have to do with motion) Adam loves, and I mean LOVES, sailing, boating, anything that has to do with being on the water so he was thrilled to go with them on this little adventure and shoot the evening. I love these photos so much, they almost make me wish I was there, too. Almost.
Not even 24 hours later we were all climbing the stairs back to the top of the Amalfi coastline to witness this sweet couple make their vows to one another. The NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi is beyond any venue I’ve seen. Tucked up in the cliff side of Amalfi, an old convent once home to monks and dates back to the 13th century with the most gorgeous views I’ve seen. BryAnn and Trent said their vows in the Cloister surrounded by 16 of their closest friends and family. We felt so lucky to be there, witnessing their love and capturing every second of their day. From the sweetest first look with her dad, to the most epic portraits on the edge of the infinity pool to literally dancing the night away. I wish we could do it all over again! BryAnn and Trent, what can I say? Thank you for letting us document your love. We will treasure these memories for a lifetime.

We couldn’t finish this post without including the INCREDIBLE film by our dear friends, and favorite travel buddies, Iron and Fern. Caitlin and Dave completely blew it out of the park with this video. We love them so much and they are always the first videographers that we recommend to our clients! Do yourself a favor and go check out the rest of their beautiful films.
