Long before I made the move from Central California to Los Angeles, where I live now, I lived in Sacramento for a short while. I had just started my photography business, and I say that loosely because I didn’t even have a website yet. While living there I started working at Lucky Brand. I still remember what I was wearing when I went in to pick up an application from Sophia. She then interviewed and hired me and turned into a dear friend while I lived there. That Lucky crew of mine still holds a special place in my heart and I’m so happy that we’ve all kept in touch after all of these years. When Sophia and Matt emailed me asking me to shoot their wedding I was so honored. It was a really beautiful day on the Central Coast and I am so blessed that I was able to be a part of it and document their beautiful day. Their ceremony was held at the amazing Mission San Luis Obispo and reception at The Cass House in Cayucos (which, to my sadness, has sold to new owners and I’ve learned they aren’t holding weddings there anymore). Hoping they change their mind because it’s a beautiful space. Sophia and Matt, thank you thank you thank you, for allowing me into your amazing lives. I’m forever grateful.
