There’s not much I love more than a proposal. When Kyle reached out to me to photograph this special moment I was so amped. I just love Courtney and knew how special it was to her to have this captured. Kyle had planned the perfect proposal and then the day before we realized there was an 80% chance of rain and since we were scared to chance it he texted me and said, “so, are you available tonight?” and with that, this magical night was made.
Photographing proposals are crazy nerve wracking. I had to hide out so Courtney wouldn’t see me, because if she did the whole thing would be ruined. Adam was my lookout and as soon as they got to their spot, he said “okay, go” and I turned around and started shooting like crazy. In the end, it’s one of my favorite things because you just cannot re enact these moments and personally I remember the entire thing being a total blur so having photos to look back on is so wonderful.
